Located in Jambiani, a few steps from Paje Beach, Jambiani Backpackers Hostel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Excellent place to stay. nice breakfast (they’ve started including breakfast in their stay for free). Dorms and private rooms have great AC (although don’t expect an eskimo room when it’s the middle of summer, the ACs across Zanzibar take a beating then). This is a chilled hostel with a stunning pool area where you can relax and read a book. It is NOT a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. Mohammed (the host/owner) is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and helps with booking activities and rides to anywhere on the island. About 95% of the guests, including myself, extended their stay.

Located in Jambiani, New Teddy's on the Beach features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and free WiFi. The property has a terrace, as well as a bar. Absolutely loved my whole time at New Teddy’s. The location, space and facilities are a dream: right in front of a gorgeous beach, beautiful layout with the swimming pool in the middle, the different lounge options, the sunshine and the breeze, the bar and open living/dinning area. The whole environment really makes it easy to meet people, hangout and overall feel really happy while being there. The food and drinks were incredible, highly reccomend the salads and cocktails (specially during happy hour, when everybody gathers around the bar) and the prices are really reasonable. Finally, the staff team is amazing, super warm and friendly, hardworking, trustworthy, they give the best reccomendations because they genuinely want to share their knowledge and love for this place. Located in Paje and within 100 metres of Paje Beach, Villa Upendo Paje features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Nina was really friendly and helpful! The location is nice, close to the beach! The place was really clean and safe! I felt very welcome and like home! Definitely will go back! Thanks for everything!

Situated in Paje, within 400 metres of Paje Beach and 19 km of Jozani Forest, Mambo Leo Hostel features accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge, and free WiFi. Very good location in the center of Paje. Close to beautifull beach,main road with dala dala buses,shops,banks,restaurants etc. Fantastic garden ! Kitchen,refrigerator,toilet,shower. The most important-Totu,very nice young woman is your fantastic host .

Situated in Paje, a few steps from Paje Beach, Your Zanzibar Place features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I stayed here for almost 2 weeks, i’m not really sure that i can write these guys what they deserve but i will do my best; This is the place to be in zanzibar specially if you are solo traveler, everyone here are so welcoming and trying to serve you whatever you want and even sometimes before you ask! The hostel is approximately 30 second from the beach and close to most of the restaurants and to the main road, i got the 4 beds dorm which was super clean and they clean the room everyday and change the bedsheets too!!, the breakfast from 8 till 10😨 there are 2 options available for free which are, pancakes or eggs. Plus coffee and juice. The facilities are super clean, there are more than 5 toilets and showers so you will nearly never wait for a shower, they have safe box where you can put your passport and valuables in and they really take care of it and even not everyone of the workers can enter the safety box room, there are cctv in the place, from midnight there are security guard which feels safe and a good thing, there are so much space in the hostel to just chill and enjoy, you can buy drinks and food from the bar from 7am till 12am and you can pay the bell last day which is really convenient and they have specials everyday, they can arrange everything for you from airport pick up till kite surfing!, the workers from the owners till the cleaners are always smiling and give the place a really good vibe. Thanks to josep, soliman, dr ali and the comedian alex and all the others to make this stay unforgettable, for sure will come again.

A calm, cozy oasis with a relaxing garden, a perfect place for backpackers and solo travelers, conveniently located in the Nungwi Beach district of Nungwi, Green's Nungwi is situated 200 meters from... Very well located. Staff was really nice and everything was comfortable and clean. We absolutely recommend it.

Situated in Zanzibar City, 300 metres from Stone Town Beach, Stone Town House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and concierge services. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and it has the perfect location. Would highly recommend!

Situated in Paje, a few steps from Paje Beach, Drifters Zanzibar features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. I have been living in Tanzania for over 6 years, and I come to Zanzibar a few times a year. My favorite place in the whole island, especially in Paje, is Drifters. Super fun vibes, great beach, great food, close to everything, and best place to be! If you're traveling alone or with friends, I highly recommend Drifters!

Aquarium Beach House features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Nungwi. A few steps from Nungwi Beach and 2.5 km from Royal Beach, the property offers a bar and a private beach... Exceptional place located directly on the beach, the owners very very helpful and friendly! Great value for money, clean rooms and good food in the restaurant, definitely coming back!
